Usually when people use medium frequency induction heating equipment for metal heat treatment, they often ignore the importance of cooling water and mistakenly think that as long as it is clean tap water, this is not the case. (l) Resistivity: If this value is low, the leakage current flowing to the ground wire will increase through the cooling water flowing through the induction coil, water-cooled cable rubber tube and oscillation tube anode.

(2) PH value: From the perspective of anti-corrosion, a high PH value (weakly alkaline) is beneficial. When the pH value is >7, the amount of CaCO3 etc. precipitated into the tube increases, and this precipitation film has an anti-corrosion effect; >8 will produce rust; <6 will corrode brass.

(3) Total hardness, calcium hardness, and magnesium hardness: The increase in these values will lead to an increase in the amount of adhesion to the pipe wall, thus reducing the thermal conductivity of the copper pipe; when the temperature of the copper pipe increases, scaling will accelerate and water will flow. The cross-section is reduced and the water flow rate is reduced.

(4) Oxygen consumption: This value indicates the content of microorganisms. When there are many microorganisms, algae will grow in the tube, which can easily lead to tube blockage and damage to the instrument. When this value is high, sterilization is necessary.

(5) Chloride ions: When this value is high, it will cause corrosion damage, dissolve copper pipes, and cause rust to iron pipes. If this value exceeds 50×10-6, it is necessary to use a deionization device for refining.
