With the continuous improvement of production technology, more and more manufacturers use automatic production lines for heat treatment of connecting rods. Today, we will take a look at the connecting rod forging and waste heat quenching automatic production line composed of a medium frequency diathermy furnace.
(1) Heating: medium frequency diathermy furnace, 500kw, 2500Hz, push rod type, automatic temperature detection and automatic sorting.
(2) Roll forging: φ370mm automatic roll forging machine, four roll forging steps.
(3) Die forging: MP type 16MN mechanical press. The forging steps are extrusion, pre-forging, final forging, and punching. The blank is automatically transferred by a walking beam mechanical transmission device.
(4) Trimming and heat correction: 1.6MN mechanical press, robot operation.
(5) Forging waste heat quenching:
Rapid quenching oil tank with automatic chain plate transmission, oil temperature 40℃-80℃, or PAG quenching medium, concentration 8%-12%, temperature 40℃±5℃. A cooler, heating device and agitator are installed inside, which can automatically control the quenching oil temperature or PAG quenching medium temperature. The speed of the chain plate conveyor belt is adjustable. If rapid quenching oil is used, an exhaust device should be equipped.
The beat of this automatic production line is 22 times/min, and forgings are produced every other stroke, that is, forgings are produced 11 times per minute, two pieces per mold, and the beat productivity is 11X60 times/h, or 1320 pieces/h.
