Quenching the splined part of the bell-shaped shell has always been a difficult problem in heat treatment. Even if a more advanced medium-frequency induction heating machine is used for quenching heat treatment, there are still some shortcomings. After observation, we found that it was caused by the unreasonable design of the sensor. For this reason, Zhengzhou Gou's technicians have finally designed a heating sensor for the spline part of the bell-shaped shell after many tests. This sensor is applied to the quenching of the spline part, and the effect is very good. Today, let's take a look at how the quenching sensor at the spline part of the bell shell is designed.
The effective circle of the heating sensor in the spline part of the bell-shaped shell is also divided into three sections: the upper section heats the upper end of the workpiece cylinder. The wrapping angle of this section is less than 150°. When 180° is used, the gap must be enlarged. The middle section is composed of two uprights. For heating, a magnetic conductor should be installed on this column. The R part of the lower heating shaft can also be added with a magnetic conductor. When the flange surface connected to R also needs to be heated, this section can be divided into two sections. One section When R is heated, the opening of the added magnetic conductor faces R; the cross section of the other section becomes rectangular, and the added magnetic conductor faces the bottom surface.
The circumferential conduit of the effective circle of this inductor grows as the diameter of the workpiece increases, while the two longitudinal conduits remain unchanged. Therefore, as the diameter of the workpiece increases, the heating area covered by it also increases, and the temperature in the middle section will be lower. At this time, the only way to achieve temperature balance is to reduce the wrap angle of the circumferential conduit, so the effective ring structure of this inductor will vary with the diameter of the workpiece to be processed and the heating area of the flange surface.
The above briefly describes how the spline part of the bell-shaped shell is quenched by a medium-frequency induction heating machine and how the inductor is designed. Zhengzhou Gou's has been engaged in the production and sales of induction heating equipment for more than fifteen years, and is quite familiar with the manufacture of various inductors.
