Nowadays, many manufacturers are using medium frequency induction heating furnaces for heat treatment, and it is becoming more and more popular. Despite this, however, there are still many people who don't use it or even don't understand it. Today, the editor will tell you what the safe operation matters of the medium frequency heating furnace include.
(1) The preparations before opening the furnace include:
1) Check the furnace lining (excluding mica flakes and asbestos boards). When the furnace lining is less than 65-80mm due to wear, the furnace must be shut down.
2) Check whether there are cracks in the furnace lining. If there are cracks more than 3mm wide, fill them with auxiliary furnace materials for repair.
3) Ensure that the cooling water of the medium frequency induction heating furnace is flowing smoothly.
(2) Instructions for adding ingredients:
1) After placing the starting block, check whether the furnace block is properly placed at the bottom of the furnace.
2) Do not add wet charge
3) Chips should be placed on the residual molten iron after tapping as much as possible. The amount of one-time input should be less than 1/10 of the total capacity of the furnace, and must be evenly added according to the furnace cross-section.
4) The addition of tubular or hollow materials (closed containers) should be prevented to prevent the risk of explosion caused by rapid expansion of air in the hollow materials after heating.
5) Regardless of the condition of the charge, the next charge must be put in before the previous charge is melted.
6) If you use furnace materials with a lot of rust and sand attached, or add too much cold material at one time, "bridging" will easily occur. The liquid level must be checked frequently to avoid "bridging" when the lower molten iron overheats and causes damage to the lower furnace lining. Serious corrosion, even leakage of molten iron.
(3) Management of tapping (or tapping) temperature. The tapping temperature should not exceed the specified value. Too high molten iron temperature will greatly reduce the life of the furnace lining.
