As an important part of the machine tool, the guide rail has a great impact on the accuracy, processing accuracy and service life of the machine tool. It has to withstand huge friction during work. Therefore, many manufacturers use medium frequency induction quenching equipment to quench guide rails to improve their hardness, wear resistance and service life. Today, the editor will take steel-inlaid guide rails as an example to briefly introduce the medium-frequency heat treatment process of guide rails.
The guide rail material of JCS-013 machining center is 38CrMoAIA steel, and the hardness of the steel-inlaid guide rail should be ≥900HV. The steel-inlaid guide rails are heat treated using medium frequency induction heating equipment. The process is as follows:The guide rail material of JCS-013 machining center is 38CrMoAIA steel, and the hardness of the steel-inlaid guide rail should be ≥900HV. The steel-inlaid guide rails are heat treated using medium frequency induction heating equipment. The process is as follows:
1. Conditioning. Quenching and tempering mainly refers to the quenching and tempering heat treatment of guide rails. They can all be carried out with medium frequency induction quenching equipment. The heating temperature is 930-940℃, the holding time is 110-120min, oil quenching, and then tempered at 650-680℃. 2h, the flatness should be controlled within the range of ≤1.Omm, and the hardness should be controlled within the range of 240~270HBW.
2. Stress relief annealing. In order to prevent the workpiece from heating and deforming, the workpiece still needs to be annealed using medium frequency induction heating equipment. The heating temperature is 600~650℃, the heat preservation is 12 hours, and the furnace is cooled to below 350℃ before being air-cooled. Its straightness should be controlled within the range of ≤0.5mm.
As an important part of the machine tool, the quality of the guide rail mainly depends on the heat treatment process of the workpiece. Today, the editor briefly tells you about the medium frequency heat treatment process of steel-inlaid guide rails. I hope it can help you. At the same time, the editor also hopes that everyone can apply the knowledge learned today to their work and produce high-quality guide rails.
