The stopper is an important part of the watch. During the operation of the watch, the pull pin has to withstand huge friction, so it wears out quickly. For this reason, many manufacturers use ultrasonic induction quenching equipment for heat treatment, with good results.
The pull-stop nail material is ASSAB300, and the hardness requirement is (680±30)HV. In order to meet the above requirements, ultrasonic induction quenching equipment is used for heat treatment. The specific process is as follows:
(1) High temperature tempering. It is carried out using ultrasonic induction quenching equipment, the tempering temperature is 560-570℃, air cooling, and the hardness reaches (340±30) HV.
(2) Quenching and tempering. The quenching temperature is 780-800℃, oil quenching, the tempering temperature is 250-260℃, and the hardness reaches (680±30) HV.
Many manufacturers use the above process for heat treatment, and the produced pull-stop nails are of good quality, with greatly improved hardness and wear resistance, which meet the work requirements. What's even better is that this process is suitable for mechanized and intelligent production, which greatly improves workers' production efficiency.
