The effect of induction quenching heat treatment on workpieces using ultrasonic induction quenching machine

Induction hardening using ultrasonic induction hardening machines has been widely used in saw teeth, cutting tools, camera shutters, computer components, micro motor shafts, etc. Its effect increases the life of cutting tools by 3-5 times, band saws by 1-2 times, and printers. Needle life is increased by 10 times.

(1) The printer needle is made of cheap piano wire, heated for 8 seconds, the hardness is increased from the original 500HV to 1050HV, and the lifespan is increased by 10 times.

(2) Large saw blade of high-speed steel band saw. The saw blade is first preheated to make its hardness reach 60HRC, and then the saw teeth are induction hardened using an ultrasonic induction quenching machine to a hardness of 68HRC. The saw blade is then tempered twice, and the final tooth hardness is 65-67HRC.

(3) Stainless steel round cutter. After the surface of the cutter is induction quenched by an ultrasonic induction quenching machine, the matrix hardness increases from 191HVO.3 to 823HVO.3.

(4) Textile card clothing. An ultrasonic induction quenching machine is used to process the card clothing. Only the teeth are hardened, while the base body remains in an annealed state to prevent the clamp from being strained. The hardness of the teeth reaches 940HV.

(5) Razor blades. The blade thickness of the razor blade is only 0.05-0.06mm, and the hardness is 700HV when fully quenched. Later, a super audio frequency induction quenching machine was used for induction quenching, and the hardness was increased to more than 980HV.

Nowadays, more and more manufacturers use ultrasonic induction quenching machines to quench and heat treat workpieces. The hardness, wear resistance and service life of the produced workpieces are greatly improved, meeting the technical requirements. What's even better is that this process is suitable for large-scale production and can greatly improve workers' production efficiency.
