The general forging process of forgings is: blanking-forging-heat treatment-cleaning and correction-warehousing. The process of forging non-quenched and tempered steel using medium frequency heating power is: blanking - forging - cleaning and correction - warehousing. The forging process is subdivided into: medium frequency induction heating - roller forging - pre-forging - final forging - trimming - Thermal correction and control of cooling and other process steps.
From the analysis of the influence of heating temperature, initial forging temperature, final forging temperature and deformation amount on the mechanical properties of forgings, each step of forging production using medium frequency induction heating power has an impact on the final mechanical properties of non-quenched and tempered steel parts, so it has an impact on non-quenched and tempered steel parts. The forging process of quenched and tempered steel parts has the following requirements:
(1) Select the appropriate heating temperature and final forging temperature based on the composition of the non-quenched and tempered steel and the requirements for mechanical properties.
(2) The parts that are reheated for the first time can be produced as qualified parts. The parts that are reheated for the second time are isolated for heat treatment and repair. The billets that have been heated three times should be scrapped, that is, the billets can only be reheated twice. .
(3) Due to the equipment failure of the medium frequency induction heating power supply, the process is stopped and the forgings cannot enter the temperature-controlled cooling line in time. Such forgings should be gathered together and then heat treated for repair.
In addition, the process effect of non-quenched and tempered steel parts should also be improved and ensured by controlling the deformation amount and cooling rate of forgings. This will not be elaborated here, but full attention needs to be given.
