Process analysis of heat treatment of machine tool parts using ultrasonic induction quenching equipment

Commonly used heat treatment processes for machine tool parts include preliminary heat treatment and final heat treatment. Annealing, normalizing and quenching and tempering are often used as preliminary heat treatments, usually after forging or rough machining. Quenching, tempering, surface heat treatment, chemical heat treatment, etc. are often performed after semi-finishing (sometimes after finishing), collectively called final heat treatment. Among them, the quenching heat treatment is mostly carried out by ultrasonic induction quenching equipment, with good results.

(1) Super audio frequency induction quenching heating temperature. The ultrasonic induction quenching temperature is higher than the heating quenching temperature in the furnace and is affected by the original structure and heating speed. The super audio frequency induction quenching temperature quenching of the same grade of steel with different original structures must be: annealing state quenching temperature > normalizing state quenching temperature > quenching and tempering state quenching temperature.

The generally recommended induction quenching heating temperature for hypoeutectoid steel is: t quenching = Ac3 + (80-150) ℃.

(2) Heating time. The heating time of workpiece induction quenching is related to various factors such as heating temperature, heating speed, workpiece diameter, required hardened layer depth and ultrasonic induction annealing equipment power, and should be determined according to the specific materials of different workpieces. The relative movement speed between the workpiece and the sensor is generally 2-9mm/s.

(3) Quenching and cooling. Ultrasonic induction quenching equipment is used for quenching heat treatment. The commonly used cooling media are water, oil, polyvinyl alcohol aqueous solution, etc.

The heat treatment process is a key factor affecting the quality of the workpiece's heat treatment. Therefore, it is very important to master the heat treatment process of the workpiece. After many manufacturers use the above process for heat treatment, the machine tool parts produced have good performance and meet the needs of the work.
