The total length of the crankshaft is within 1500mm, there are 14 quenching parts, and the productivity is 40 pieces/h. In order to simplify and mechanize the crankshaft production process, our company has developed a complete crankshaft quenching equipment consisting of a medium frequency diathermy furnace and a CNC quenching machine tool. Today, let’s take a look at the complete set of crankshaft quenching equipment.
1) Medium frequency diathermy furnace (300kw, 8kHz).
2) Quenching machine tool and control cabinet: gantry structure, with two quenching stations, which are fed through a walking beam mechanism. The first station quenches the main journal I, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, IV, V, Ⅵ, Ⅶ, and the second station Position quenching connecting rod necks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and the oil seal on the far right. One equipment provides one station, and two journals are quenched at one time, except the oil seal part. The capacitor cabinet is installed above the machine tool, and each journal is equipped with a set of quenching transformers and inductors.
3) The flow rate of the cooling water circulation device for electrical equipment is 13.5m3/h.
4) The flow rate of the quenching liquid cooling circulation device is 16.8m3/h.
5) Chain bucket type tempering furnace and control cabinet: Special clamps are hung on the chain, and through mechanical transmission, materials are fed and discharged according to the production rhythm requirements. The temperature of the tempering furnace is 180-200°C, and the tempering time is 2 hours.
6) The cooling device of the crankshaft after tempering is used to cool the tempered crankshaft to below 30℃ for subsequent processing.
Many manufacturers use complete sets of crankshaft quenching equipment for heat treatment. The hardness and wear resistance of the produced crankshafts are greatly improved, meeting the needs of the work. The more important thing is that this equipment can greatly improve workers' productivity.
