The so-called induction heating means that the induction heating equipment outputs high-frequency current through the induction coil to generate an alternating magnetic field that penetrates the metal workpiece placed in the induction coil to form an eddy current to heat it rapidly, while the inductor itself does not generate heat. Therefore, the induction coil (inductor) is an important tool for heat treatment of workpieces and an important part of the medium frequency induction heating furnace. The key to ensuring the quality of the inductor of the medium frequency induction heating machine is design. If the design drawings cannot guarantee the manufacturing quality during construction, this is a design defect. Design includes:
2) Correct selection of materials. For example, the effective ring should be made of oxygen-free pure copper (OFHC), the insulation parts should be made of voltage-resistant and temperature-resistant materials, and the accessories should be made of non-magnetic steel, brass carbide, etc.
3) There must be neutral dimensional tolerances and manufacturing accuracy, neither too high requirements nor all tolerances. For example: the inner (outer) diameter of the effective circle. Tolerances should generally be marked. The V-shaped conductive surface should pay attention to the angle tolerance and the corresponding level of surface roughness. There should be a tolerance for center distance. The end surface of the effective ring and the plane of the contact plate should be perpendicular or parallel, the spacing of the spray holes must be evenly distributed, and the spray angle must be (the angle with the vertical line, the holes on the circumference converge towards the center), etc.
