Cylinder liner is the abbreviation of cylinder liner. It is embedded in the cylinder barrel of the cylinder block and forms the combustion chamber together with the piston and cylinder head. During work, the cylinder liner has to withstand huge friction. Therefore, in order to meet the needs of the work, we often use medium frequency induction heating machines to quench and heat treat the inner surface of the cylinder liner. Today, we are not talking about the inner surface quenching process of the cylinder liner, but we are talking about the sensor used for quenching the inner surface of the cylinder liner.
The inner surface of the cylinder liner is generally quenched by scanning quenching. Due to the thin wall of the cylinder liner, when the inner surface is heated and quenched, there are auxiliary injectors on the outer surface of the cylinder liner for cooling, which can reduce the deformation of the cylinder liner.
The characteristics of the cylinder liner inner surface quenching sensor are as follows:
1) A concentric bus bar is used, which is composed of three layers of copper tubes. The quenching cooling medium is passed between the innermost layer and the second and third layers of copper tubes, and is sprayed directly from the spray hole.
2) A bakelite disk with positioning pins is installed under the effective circle to prevent the workpiece from colliding with the effective circle. This kind of inner hole inductor has high heating efficiency, 8kHz power supply, quenching φ123mm inner hole, and scanning quenching can reach 10.7mm/s at 160kw output power.
We all know that the inductor is an important part of the medium frequency induction heating machine and is necessary for heating the workpiece. This article briefly introduces the sensor used for quenching the inner surface of the cylinder liner. I hope it will be helpful to your work.
