Cooling conditions for quenching steel using medium frequency induction quenching equipment

(1) Quenching cooling should have rapid cooling conditions. Only with this condition can we avoid the formation of beads in the 650-400°C area where austenite decomposition is most dangerous and reduce the quenching effect.

(2) The quenching and cooling method must adapt to the continuous heating and cooling process. During rapid heat treatment, the steel is continuously heated and cooled one by one. The traditional immersion quenching and cooling method cannot be used, and a new quenching and cooling method should be selected.

(3) The quenching cooling method should have good quenching effect. The new quenching cooling method should have good quenching effect, including obtaining fine lath-shaped quenched martensite, uniform stress distribution in the steel after quenching, and suitable for continuous heat treatment production conditions.
