1. Annealing energy-saving process measures. The process has great energy-saving potential, low investment, and has the effect of getting twice the result with half the effort. However, due to people's habitual habits, process energy saving is often ignored by people. Therefore, in order to achieve process energy conservation, we must review past understandings and change traditional concepts. Only in this way can we save energy better.

There are four ways to save energy in the annealing process.

1. Redefine the process parameters to achieve energy saving by shortening the heating time and lowering the heating temperature.

2. To speed up the chemical treatment process, we can take measures to promote penetration and reasonably thin the depth of the penetration layer to achieve the purpose of energy saving.

3. Change the heating method to achieve technology by replacing overall heating with local heating, replacing quenching, tempering and annealing with normalizing, replacing carburizing annealing with surface quenching, or self-tempering after induction quenching.

4. Use the preheating of the previous process to save energy. We can use the waste heat quenching after forging or the waste heat annealing after casting to save energy.

2. Energy saving of annealing equipment. The potential for energy-saving renovation of heating equipment is huge. From the perspective of energy conservation, most of the heat treatment and annealing equipment in the past must be modified.

Measures we can take on annealing equipment:

1. Choose energy reasonably. We can choose the energy that suits us according to local conditions.

2. Reduce heat loss and improve thermal efficiency. We can save energy by improving the sealing of the furnace and reducing heat loss from transmission parts.

3. We can save energy by reusing carburizing waste gas.

4. Achieve the purpose of saving energy by choosing the furnace type that suits you.

3. Reasonable production management. Reasonable production management is the prerequisite for unleashing the potential of energy-saving technical measures. Management here refers to the organization and arrangement of production batches. From a management perspective, the first thing that should be considered is to ensure that the heating equipment operates continuously at full load (reaching the rated furnace capacity). For this reason, heat treatment production must have sufficient batches, and the type, specification and size of heating equipment must be reasonably selected according to the batch size to achieve balanced production. For example, when the batch size is large enough, continuous heating equipment (push rod furnace, conveyor belt furnace, vibration bottom furnace, mesh belt furnace, etc.) should be used as much as possible instead of periodic furnace: insufficient batch size and equipment selection will inevitably load the equipment. Extremely low or frequent temporary opening of the furnace wastes a lot of time and heat energy in the heating process of the furnace. Therefore, when a factory's products are not fixed, have many varieties, unstable output, and small batches, and cannot achieve continuous and balanced production, it is not recommended to build a self-built heat treatment workshop. For small groups or work sections, it is advisable to send workpieces to professional factories for collaboration.
