As we all know, for large workpieces, such as very long shafts, the heat treatment of the workpiece cannot be completed solely by induction heating annealing equipment. It requires a CNC quenching machine tool. In production, some induction hardened parts need to be performed on CNC quenching machine tools, but some small workpieces do not necessarily have to be performed on machine tools. Instead, a combination of quenching workbench and quenching fixture is used, which can also be produced in large quantities. Today, we are not talking about quenching machine tools, we are talking about quenching fixtures.

1. Rotating fixture for upper center positioning

A small motor is used to rotate two meshing gears. Under the gear are two chucks that can hold two quenched workpieces. Start the small motor; the workpiece can rotate. This clamp can be mounted on a lifting bracket. The bracket descends and the workpiece enters the inductor for heating and quenching. It is very simple and practical.

2. The end face of the upper journal is used as the upper center as the positioning reference.

For some workpieces such as engine camshafts, the cam size chain is often based on the journal. Since the size tolerance of the top holes at both ends of the camshaft is large, one end face of the journal must be used as the positioning reference. A similar situation exists for automobile axles. Because the center hole diameter tolerance is too large, when the center hole is used as the positioning reference, the axial gap between the flange end face and the sensor often changes, affecting the quenching quality of this part.

3. Transmission fork quenching fixture

The transmission fork is scanned and heated in the loop type inductor, and finally enters the quenching liquid for quenching. When designing this kind of fixture, it should be noted that the positioning datum plane must be as close as possible to the heating surface of the workpiece to reduce the deviation of the heating surface in the sensor.

4. Simple fixture for quenching small workpieces

The small inner hole quenching fixture has only one motor, a reducer and a rotary table. The rotary table can adjust the height up and down and is used to process the inner holes of small workpieces.

5.Quenching workbench combined with sensor with centering device

The quenching workbench is equipped with control instrumentation and electrical appliances, and is equipped with an intermediate frequency transformer and capacitor. The workbench is designed with cooling water and quenching water inlet and outlet pipes and a sink for placing the quenching fixture.

The sensor can be equipped with a centering device, or a special fixture can be placed in the water tank for positioning the quenched parts. This device is suitable for processing small workpieces such as automobile leaf spring pins and brake shoes. Replacing an inductor with a centering device can replace a quenching workpiece, which has a multi-purpose function.
