The characteristic of induction heating of medium frequency induction heating equipment is that the heating speed is fast, generally tens to hundreds of degrees Celsius per second, or even reaching thousands of degrees Celsius per second. Such a fast heating rate cannot be measured with a general pyrometer. The temperature must be measured with an infrared thermometer or an infrared optical fiber colorimeter. These thermometers have been used in ball screws, machine tool guide rails, oil pipes, PC steel bar induction quenching production, and have been successfully used in closed-loop control on PC steel bar induction quenching production lines.
1) Optical innovative thermometer: The principle is that the optical fiber is mixed with different materials, the window wavelength is adjusted, and the spatial filtering effect of the optical fiber is used to change the incident light wave from a spatial transient state to a spatial steady state, and the ultraviolet, Working bands such as visible light and infrared rays achieve the best combination of the measured temperature, fiber selection and photoelectric conversion.
Its temperature measurement range is 250-3000°C, the basic error of the segment is 5°C (the upper limit of the measuring range), the resolution is 0.5°C, the response time is less than Ims, and the minimum measurement diameter is 6mm (when the target distance is 250mm). A variety of specifications and measurement ranges, induction hardening generally can choose the range of 300-1200℃ or 500-1300℃.
2) Infrared thermometer: Its working principle is to calculate the surface temperature of the object by measuring the infrared radiation intensity emitted by the target. It is a non-contact thermometer. The infrared thermometer is a portable thermometer that weighs only 150g and has a volume of 190mmx40mmx45mrn. Its temperature measurement range is -32-420℃ and -32-530℃, the response time is 300ms, and the temperature measurement accuracy is ±1 degree. In the field of induction heating, it can be used for tempering temperature measurement.
3) Thermometer pen: Two color-changing pens with different temperatures are used to test the surface temperature of the workpiece. Two adjacent color-changing pens paint the test surface at the same time. If the paint on the thermometer pen changes color, it indicates that the temperature is greater than the pen's calibrated temperature. If the paint does not change color, it indicates that the temperature of the test surface is lower than the pen's calibrated temperature. This kind of temperature measuring pen is mainly used to measure the surface temperature of welded parts. It can also be used for induction tempering or self-tempering.
