After heat treatment by medium frequency induction heating machine, the uniformity and stability of mechanical properties of steel are important conditions to ensure safe use, and are also important indicators for inspecting heat treatment process.
During induction heating rapid heat treatment, the steel passes through the inductor and cooling device one by one at a constant temperature and speed. The heat treatment temperature and time are strictly controlled through an automatic control system. Therefore, the quality of the entire batch of steel after treatment is stable, and the bar performance of the steel is uniform. These characteristics are difficult to achieve with traditional heat treatment processes. Table 1 shows the statistical results of 300 hardness test points after quenching and tempering treatment of 5 long steel pipes. It can be seen from the hardness testing results in Table 1 that the hardness uniformity of induction heating quenching and tempering treatment is significantly better than that of traditional quenching and tempering treatment. Similar results were obtained from testing the mechanical properties of steel pipes at room temperature. Table 2 shows the uniformity of mechanical properties of cold-drawn GCr15 steel after annealing. The data in Table 2 further show that the uniformity of mechanical properties of the high carbon bearing steel annealed by induction heating is better than that treated by fuel oil annealing. Especially after the annealing treatment, the uniformity of the mechanical properties of the cleaning rod at room temperature is significantly improved.

From the above induction heating quenched and tempered steel pipe cross-section circumferential hardness distribution data and high carbon steel wire induction heating and tempering treatment, it can be shown that the steel has higher uniformity and stability of mechanical properties after induction heating and tempering treatment. . This feature plays an important role in improving the safety of steel use.
To sum up, after the steel is treated with a medium frequency induction heating machine, its uniformity and stability are greatly improved.
