Circular saw blades are generally used as cutting tools and must withstand huge friction during work. Therefore, we usually use high-frequency induction heating equipment to heat treat circular saw blades. Today, the editor will briefly introduce to you the high-frequency heat treatment process of circular saw blades.
According to relevant standards, the material of woodworking circular saw blades is T8A, 65Mn or other steel materials with properties no less than its performance. It is integrally quenched and requires high elasticity and a certain hardness (44-48HRC). Most manufacturers use T8A, and a few units use 65, 65Mn, and 85CrV steel. In order to reduce deformation, according to the outer diameter and thickness of the circular saw blade, select a suitable Q235 steel plate for clamping and quenching, clean it after cooling, and then clamp and temper it, which can greatly improve the flatness qualification rate. Its heat treatment process is as follows:
Circular saw blade material | Quenching temperature/℃ | Tempering temperature/℃ | Circular saw blade material | Quenching temperature/℃ | Tempering temperature/℃ |
T7A/T8A | 790-810 | 420-440 | 65/65Mn | 820-840 | 450-480 |
T10A | 780-800 | 430-450 | 85CrV | 840-860 | 450-500 |
