How to use a simple method to compare the quality of magnets in medium frequency induction heating machine?

When the medium frequency induction heating machine heats the workpiece, in some cases it is necessary to add a magnet. So how should we check the quality of the magnetic conductor when adding it? Today, Zhengzhou Gou's will tell you his many years of experience and tell you how to use a relatively simple method to test the quality of magnets.

Many performance parameters of the magnetic conductor of the medium frequency induction heating machine require professional instruments to measure, which is impossible for users. However, the performance of the magnetic conductor can be roughly measured using the following simple method.

1) The use temperature of muddy or processable magnets is limited by the temperature resistance of the binder. It is another concept with the Curie point. It can be heated to the working temperature in the furnace to see if it breaks.

2) Comparative test. Install one piece of magnets of the same specifications and different brands on the same coil (the flat heating method is better). After powering on, check which of the two corresponding parts of the heated steel scale turns red first. The one that turns red first is of better quality.

3) Measurement of Curie point. Heat to the nominal Curie point temperature of the magnetic conductor (for example, 180°C), and then use a permanent magnet to test whether it loses its magnetism. If it cannot be sucked, it means that it has reached the point of loss of magnetism. Naturally, the Curie point is higher, and the use effect should be better than that of lower Curie point.

4) Heating for a longer time. After the power is turned off, measure the temperature rise of the two magnets. The smaller the temperature rise, the better the quality.

5) From the density value of the magnetic conductor, we can roughly know its iron powder content. Because the main components of ferrite and processable magnets are iron powder and binder. For magnets that can be added, the finer the iron powder, the more binder, and the higher the frequency of use, but the density is slightly lower. The general density is 4.8-6.6g/cm3. The density of ferrite magnets should be 4.7g. /cm3 or so, generally high-density magnetic permeable materials also have high saturation magnetic flux density.

Zhengzhou Gou's has been engaged in the production and sales of medium frequency induction heating machines for more than fifteen years. It has a good understanding of both the equipment itself and other parts. Today, the technicians briefly introduced the method of judging the quality of the magnet.
