Disks are important parts of tillage machinery and planting machinery. There are two types of discs: flat discs and spherical discs. They are mainly used for breaking soil, leveling the ground and eliminating stubble. Due to the limitations of working conditions, the disc should have sufficient strength and toughness, as well as high hardness and wear resistance. Therefore, in order to adapt to the work of the disc, it is necessary to use medium frequency induction heating equipment to perform some heat treatment on the disc to improve its performance.
1. The process route for heat treatment of discs by medium frequency induction heating equipment is: blanking-drilling-pressing, quenching-tempering-opening.
2. The disk requires a hardness of 38=-48HRC after heat treatment, and the hardness difference between stores on the same piece is less than or equal to 7HRC. Among them, the medium-frequency induction heating of the opener disk consists of three parts: compression induction heating - compression shaft quenching - pressure induction tempering. The tempering heating time and quenching heating are the same as 40-45s. By adjusting the power, the heat treatment machine tool can be changed. Tempering temperature to adjust disc tempering hardness. Among them, Xi'an Agricultural Machinery Factory processed 65Mn steel medium-frequency induction quenching opener discs into 58-62HRC.
3. The heat treatment process specifications of the disc are as follows:
Part name | Steel number | Heating equipment | Quenching temperature/℃ | time/min | Tempering temperature/℃ | Tempering time/h | Hardness (HRC) |
Dry field rake blade | 65Mn | Box type electric stove | 840-860 | 7-10 | 370-430 | 1 | 42-49 |
Paddy rake blade | 65Mn | Box type electric stove | 840-860 | 7-10 | 380-450 | 1 | 48-54 |
Five-share plow disc round knife | Q275 | Box type electric stove | 890-910 | 3-5 | 160-180 | 1 | 50-54 |
Opener disc | 65Mn | Box type electric stove | 890 | 40-45s | 200 | 40-45s pressurization | 53-62 |
It is best to use medium frequency induction heating equipment to perform heat treatments such as quenching and annealing on the disc. Medium frequency induction heating equipment can not only be used to heat treat discs, it can also quench workpieces such as half shafts, gears, spline shafts, etc., and can also smelt metals such as gold, silver, and copper.
