The bearing rings are heat treated using a medium frequency induction heating machine. There are many factors that affect the heat treatment effect, such as heat treatment process, raw materials, etc. Among all factors, the influence of heat treatment process is greater. Today, let’s take a look at the medium-frequency heat treatment process of bearing rings.
The heat treatment process of the bearing ring is as follows: medium frequency induction heating of the ring, then sent to an oil tank with a vibration quenching machine for quenching for 1 minute, cleaning and induction heating and tempering. The quenching and tempering process is shown in the table below:
Bearing rings | Medium frequency induction heating quenching | Medium frequency induction heating and tempering
Pushing beat/(pieces/min) | Heating temperature/℃ | Holding time/s | Total heating time/s | Cooling | Pushing beat/(pieces/min) | Electrical parameters | Heating temperature/℃ | Holding time/s | Total heating time/s
U2/V | I2/A | ||||||||||
6308/01 | 9.5 | 870±5 | 120 | 330 | Oil cooling | 9.5 | 23.5±0.3 | 300 | 215±5 | 150 | 300 |
6308/02 | 9.5 | 870±5 | 120 | 330 | 9.5 | 15.5±0.3 | 300 | 215±5 | 150 | 300 |
Many manufacturers use the above process for heat treatment, and the bearing rings produced are of good quality and meet the needs of the work. What's even better is that this process is suitable for large-scale production and can greatly improve workers' production efficiency.
