The size of the T8 steel sheet spring is 46mmx476mm, the thickness is only 0.2mm, and it is in the shape of a micro-sheet. Due to the outstanding shape characteristics of the workpiece, deformation has become a difficult point, and the hardness uniformity of the workpiece is difficult to control. The original structure of the workpiece is fine pearlite + point-like carbides. The technical requirement is that the hardness is 30-35HRC. The workpiece can be bent at 180° 10 times without cracks. Air heating and salt bath heating were used in production, but it was found that the workpiece was cold immediately after being quenched and could not be quenched. It was difficult to correct the deformation using pressure tempering, or the surface of the spring was oxidized and decarburized, and pinhole corrosion caused the workpiece to fail. To this end, the experiment used a high-frequency induction annealing machine for quenching heat treatment, which was successful and used in production.

The T8 steel sheet spring uses a high-frequency induction heating machine for quenching heat treatment. The quenching temperature is usually 850°C. The inductor is a profiling inductor made according to the spring specifications, which can ensure the uniformity of the spring quenching to the greatest extent. In addition, the quenching temperature is 850°C. The speed is fast, and the quenching process can be completed in a few seconds, avoiding the occurrence of oxidation and decarburization, and the workpiece deformation is small, meeting the technical requirements.。
