Induction heating is characterized by fast heating speed, which can reach tens to hundreds of degrees Celsius per second, and sometimes even thousands of degrees Celsius. Such a fast heating rate cannot be measured with a general pyrometer, and an infrared thermometer or infrared optical fiber colorimetric temperature measurement must be used. These thermometers have been widely used in ball screws, machine tool guide rails, oil pipes, PC steel rod induction hardening production lines, and have been successfully used in closed-loop control.
1. Optical innovative thermometer. Its temperature measurement range is 250---3000℃, the basic segment error is 5% (the upper limit of the measuring range), the resolution is 0.5%, the response time is less than 1ms, the minimum measurement diameter is ¢6mm (the target distance is 250mm), and there are many for various specifications and measurement ranges, Zhengzhou Gou's Electromagnetic Induction Heating Equipment Co., Ltd. chooses 300--1200℃ in its cold-rolled steel bar production line.
2. MS type infrared thermometer. Its working principle is to measure the infrared radiation intensity emitted by the target and calculate the surface temperature of the object. It is a non-contact thermometer and a portable temperature measurement method. It is relatively light and easy to carry when going out. Its measurement range is -32-420℃, or -32-530℃, the response time is 300ms, and the temperature measurement accuracy is ±1%. Zhengzhou Gou's Electromagnetic Induction Heating Equipment Co., Ltd. generally uses this instrument for cold-drawn steel wire tempering production line.
3. Thermometer pen. The thermometer pen uses two different temperature color-changing pens to test the surface temperature of the workpiece. It is mainly used to measure the surface temperature of the welded parts and its application ranges such as induction tempering and self-tempering. Nowadays, due to the application of optical thermometers, this application method is becoming less and less common.
