Compressor valve plate is heat treated by high frequency induction heating machine

Compressors are widely used in chemical machinery, and valve plates are an important part of compressors. When compressing and delivering high-pressure gas, the valve plate needs to move up and down, so after a long time of work, the valve plate will be impacted, worn and corroded, and the working conditions are very bad. According to its working nature and technical requirements, the valve plate needs to have high fatigue resistance and impact toughness, good wear resistance and corrosion resistance, etc. Therefore, we must use qualified materials and high-quality low-carbon carbon steel to make compressor valve plates, and use high-frequency induction heating machines to perform correct heat treatment processes on them.

The production process of the compressor valve plate is: plate forging, rough machining, heat treatment, finishing, etc. In the heat treatment process, several aspects need to be paid attention to. Since the material for making the valve plate is low-carbon alloy steel, this material itself has good hardenability, high tempering stability and impact toughness. Therefore, After the quenching treatment by the high-frequency induction heating machine, the valve plate can meet its own comprehensive mechanical properties. However, during the heating process, it is necessary to avoid oxidation or decarburization of the valve plate, otherwise its impact toughness and fatigue strength will be reduced. The thickness of the valve plate is very thin. When heating, the time should be short and the heating temperature should be lower, so as to reduce the degree of deformation of the valve plate and refine its internal structure. After heating, it is necessary to normalize the valve plate to break the band-shaped compound inside and homogenize the tissue composition, so as to ensure that the valve plate will not appear fatigue fracture during the working process, and also improve its toughness. In order not to reduce the overall hardness of the valve plate, the valve plate will be tempered at the end to further improve its corrosion resistance and wear resistance, and increase its service life.
