After the blank is machined, the shaft diameter, fillet, and end face of the steering knuckle are subjected to medium frequency induction hardening at the same time. The hardness is 52-63HRC, the depth of the hardened layer is 3-5mm, and the structure is fine needle-shaped martensite. The steering knuckle of the part has many processing procedures, and it may become a waste product due to improper process and poor material. Therefore, in the actual manufacturing process, most of the waste products appear in the heat treatment process of forging and quenching and tempering.
