The spline part of the spline shaft needs to be quenched with a high-frequency induction hardening machine. The heating temperature is 860-900°C, and the water is sprayed for cooling. The workpiece must be rotated slowly to ensure uniform heating around the circumference of the workpiece. After the quenching heat treatment, the spline needs to be annealed.
