For the production of stamping parts, some factories choose blanks with a smaller diameter and a slightly larger length. After heating, they first press the cake and then stamp it into the required workpiece. This can reduce the time consumed by sawing and save raw materials at the same time. .But there are also some factories that directly saw the bar into a round cake, and stamp it into the required workpiece after heating. Which method to choose depends on the equipment in the production workshop.

The induction heating of steel cake and copper cake is to select the current frequency according to the way of induction heating. When stacking steel cakes or copper cakes for induction heating, the current frequency should be selected according to the diameter of the steel cakes or copper cakes, and the magnetic field lines pass through the steel cakes or copper cakes vertically. If steel cakes or steel cakes are placed in a row, the selection of current frequency depends on the thickness of steel cakes or copper cakes. Considering the convenience of charging the induction heating furnace, the heating time and the length of the coil, it is very convenient to heat the steel cake or the steel cake with a rectangular section inductor. The magnetic line of force of the inductor is longitudinally parallel to the two sides of the steel cake or copper cake, and the contact between the two cakes is a line, and there is a gap on both sides of the two cakes, which will affect the efficiency of induction heating to some extent. .

1. Medium frequency induction annealing equipment for steel cake

A production plant uses medium frequency induction annealing equipment for steel cakes. The size of steel cakes is 112mmx40mm in diameter, the quality of each steel cake is 3KG, the productivity is 3 pieces/min, calculated by mass is 540kg/h, and the heating temperature is 950-1050℃ .

The steel cake is heated by induction heating, the power frequency used is 2500hz, and the power is 250kw. The feeding method is push type, that is, a steel cake is pushed from one end of the inductor, and a heated steel cake is pushed out from the other end of the inductor, and then sent to the next process for stamping.

The rectangular cross-section size of the induction coil is 150mmX76mm, the length of the induction coil is 1500mm, a total of 108 turns, there are several taps on the coil, while adjusting the heating time and pre-power parameters, the coil is wound with a square pure copper tube of 10mmX10mmX2mm, divided into 6 waterways Cooling of the coil is performed. There are heat-resistant lining and insulation layer inside before the election. There can be 12 steel cakes in the coil, the heating time is 240s, and the heating power is 130-150kw.

2. Copper cake medium frequency induction annealing equipment

A factory uses the existing medium frequency power supply to inductively heat 46 brass cakes. The frequency of the power supply is 2500hz and the power is 250kw. The diameter of the copper cake is 147X36mm, the mass of each copper piece is 4.93kg, and the productivity is 25s/piece. Calculated by mass, it is 710kg/h, and the heating temperature is 750-800°C.

The copper cake is also heated by induction heating, and the feeding method is also push type. The next process of the copper cake that has been induction heated is stamping.

The rectangular shape of the induction coil reveals that the size is 187mmx90mm, the length of the induction coil is 1280mm, and a total of 68 turns. It is wound with a square pure copper tube of 16mmx16mmX2mm. Four water channels are used to cool the coil. The bushing inside the coil is 3mm thick. It is made of stainless steel plate with gaps, so that the induced current on the bush will not form a loop, and the outside of the bush is lined with aluminum silicate fiber felt. Eight copper cakes can be placed in the coil, the heating time is 200s, and the heating power is 140-160kw.
