We encountered a kind of workpiece that requires quenching on both the surface of the outer circle and the surface of the inner hole. The usual method is to quench the outer circle first and then the inner hole. At this time, the outer circle is protected by water spray to prevent tempering. This method is cumbersome to operate. It needs to change the sensor and load and unload it twice, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive, and affects productivity. After many experiments, Zhengzhou Gou's developed a process of heating and quenching the inner hole and outer circle at the same time. The workpiece is a planetary ring gear. After the workpiece is installed, it rises on the general-purpose intermediate frequency induction heating furnace and enters the heating position of the outer circle and inner hole sensors at the same time. The two inductors are respectively connected to two quenching transformers.

Adopt 10kHz, 200kW medium frequency induction heating machine, which supplies two quenching transformers at the same time. The difficulty of this design is that the power distribution on the outer circle and the inner hole inductor must be appropriate, which can be satisfactorily matched by different turns of the inductor and the magnetic conductor. The wall thickness of the above-mentioned workpiece is only 12.7mm. According to this design, the inner and outer circles can be simultaneously scanned and quenched for the thick-walled pin sleeve parts.
